UME Group’s key staff in charge of the resourcing division have themselves worked on large-scale, leading global events across various sports.
Our aim is to streamline the entire event management process in order to enable clients to pre-plan all of their hiring requirements and to have the right people in the right positions at the right time. The close relationships we have built with events experts enable us to know who is available for specific projects and when, enabling us to help our clients save on both costs and time through effective planning to get the best people at precisely the moment when they are needed.
A major event evolves through a number of stages: bidding, strategy, planning, set up, operational stage and post event activity. At UME Resourcing we have a thorough understanding of all these steps and what is required at each stage including the different skill sets required for each functional area.
For every stage of an event we can supply the appropriate talent:
- Bidding specialists across various functions to complement bidding committees
- Event staff – long to mid term contracts from 6 years to 1 year before the event, covering strategic planning and set up
- Operational staff – short to mid term contracts up to a year in advance of the event and for the duration of the event.
- Students and volunteers at short notice during the event
We have built a large qualified database of internationally experienced event experts as well as local talent in the events area, which makes us the industry reference point for all event planners.
We partner with a number of universities so that we can always tap into a vast number of students and volunteers locally who can be hired at short notice.
