As a human resource company we care about people. UME Legacy was created to help develop people and attempts to do this through creating human development concepts around major international sporting and entertainment events.
The Legacy programme develops skills at different levels through volunteering for events. Whether it is low skilled unemployed nationals volunteering at an event and receiving quality training or whether it is people lacking specific skills who obtain these skills through events, the Legacy programme’s purpose is to create opportunities for people to become productive and employable members of society.
All too often, major international events only leave a legacy of infrastructure. Our goal is to help federations and events leave a human development legacy.
The Legacy programme looks to involve the non commercial and commercial partners of these large scale events in helping to leave a sustainable legacy after the event.
